LASAGNE FOR LIFELINE
‘Lasagne for Lifeline WA’ is designed to engage the community in a unique fundraising event for Lifeline WA.
Nonnas and nonnos, mammas and papas, food enthusiasts, culinary gurus and celebrities are all invited to don their aprons and cook a lasagne in any one of numerous categories including veal or beef, vegetarian, vegan, seafood or surprise us!
These lasagnes will be sold off, with 100% of the proceeds to raise funds for Lifeline WA.
Buyers
Browse the submissions from home cooks, celebrities and the professionals to whet your appetite and order via the link on the tab under your chosen lasagne.
Once payment is received you will be notified of the contact details of your winning cook or chef.
You will be asked to nominate the date you wish to collect your lasagne and it will be made fresh, especially for you.
If the date you choose is a popular public event (Easter, Christmas, Mother’s Day etc) the maker of the lasagne reserves the right to be able to make it ahead of time and freeze it for you for convenience.
Please ensure when you make your purchase that you list any allergies.

Cooks
Home cooks
Home cooks (nonnos, nonnas, aunties etc) are invited to share their family lasagne recipes to raise money for Lifeline WA.
Complete the application form (link here).
Once the application has been approved, the lasagne will be listed on the website and the public can bid for your lasagne.
Every lasagne will have a minimum sale price of $250 for Lifeline WA. There will be an opportunity to make an additional donation if required.
Once your lasagne is sold, you will be notified of the sale and the buyer’s contact details.
The buyer will be given your email address to contact you regarding collection time and date.
To facilitate any issues with pick up or delivery, Vince Garreffa’s phone number and email will be also offered for support.
Guidelines;
- Should feed 8 – 10 people
- Size approximately 30cm long x 25cm wide by 5cm deep.
- We suggest you use the disposable foil BBQ trays, however if you decide to use your own baking tray, we can’t guarantee the return.
- Ingredients – your choice but please list each of them for allergy reasons
- Minimum time frame from when someone orders your lasagne to collection should be up to four weeks as a guide, or by agreement.
- If you’re worried about security and don’t wish to have the lasagne collected from your home, pick up location will be Vince Garreffa’s home in Mount Lawley.
Chefs and Restaurateurs
Chefs and restaurateurs who would like to show off their skills and demonstrate their love for Lifeline WA at the same time are welcome to submit their entries for sale.

Every lasagne will have a minimum sale price of $250 for Lifeline WA. Should your ingredients be of a more ‘exotic’ nature, then the sale price will be by negotiation with Vince Garreffa.
There will be an opportunity to make an additional donation if required.

Celebrities
Are you a ‘Perthanality’? Whether you can cook or not, you’re invited to lend your name to this great cause.
If you’re a competent and confident cook, go ahead and cook up a storm, however if you’d like your own personal coach, Vince Garreffa and his team of volunteers will assist you in making the perfect lasagne.

Celeb lasagnes will be sold as an auction, to maximise the donation for Lifeline WA. Any price bid for a celebrity lasagne will have an auction timeframe of seven days. Should no higher bid be received that will be the winning bid.

- There are incentives for those cooks and chefs who sell more than one lasagne or raise a minimum of $500 for Lifeline WA.
- An attractive lapel pin has been designed for Lasagne for Lifeline and will be gifted to anyone who raises a minimum of $500.
- Cooks or chefs who raise a minimum of $1000 will receive a free lasagne hamper which will contain home-made sauce, lasagne sheets, premium Linley Valley and Amelia Park mince, in addition to the lapel pin.
